Heavy duty direct drive motor

Maintenance free TEFC totally enclosed fan cooled motor rated for continuous operation. All 3-phase sanders are provided with a 3-HP motor for long term dependable service.

Safe operator controls

Magnetic motor starter with overload protection for safe installation. Reversing drum switch for disc direction control. All controls are mounted for operator convenience. Optional JIC controls and motor brakes available.

Durable cast iron table

Precision ground flat for true sanding operation. Supported on each end by cast iron table segments which are fully annealed and precision machined for stable operation.

Operator friendly table controls

Engineered worm gear design allows the table to be tilted 30 degrees up and 45 degrees down relative to the disc. 20 and 24 inch disc models are geared on each end of the table. An easy-to-read degree scale allows for accurate tilt determination before the locking device is engaged. Table raising and lowering is accomplished on the 16 and 20 inch models by a decades-proven gear rack design. The 24 inch disc model is equipped with a heavy duty electrically powered table lifter. Tables can be raised to just under the center of the disc or lowered to below the disc in order to easily accommodate different size sanding jobs or replace the abrasive disc.

Cast aluminum miter gauge

Heavy duty and calibrated for accurate angle determination. The miter gauge slides in a slot machined in the table
